Atalanta forward returns to training

The Chilean was forced out of action a fortnight ago with a muscular injury and has been trying to become match fit after his spell on the sidelines.

While the Orobici still remain hopeful of getting their striker back in time for Sunday’s match against the Biancorossi, they will still be without defender Emanuele Suagher as well as midfielder Marcelo Estigarribia who are both set to miss out

Atalanta find themselves in tenth place in the Serie A table after seven matches of the league season.

Former Hearts striker Pinilla joined Atalanta from fellow Serie A side Genoa in January on an initial loan deal which was then made permanent in the summer.
