Serie A side Bologna have officially confirmed Roberto Donadoni as their new coach.
The Rossoblu were promoted back up to the Italian top flight last term but former coach Delio Rossi was relieved of his duties following a disappointing run of two wins and eight losses in their first ten games on the season, most recently concluding with a 1-0 defeat at home to Inter.
Through their official website, just hours after they sacked Rossi, it was announced that former Parma coach Donadoni has taken his place on Bologna’s bench with a contract up until 2017.
He will be officially presented as the new coach at 16:30 GMT on Thursday.
His first game will be Sunday’s fixture against Atalanta, as he tries to bring Bologna out of the relegation zone and further up the league table.
