Bologna’s Robert Acquafresca will undertake different training this week as he looks to regain full fitness.

The Rossoblu striker, who has played just 84 minutes so far this season, has been struggling with an injury to his left leg.

BolognaFC.it indicates that Acquafresca will try to recover from a soleus muscle problem as he looks to regain his place in the first team of the struggling side.

He is expected to return to first team action within a week, which means that he will almost certainly be unavailable for the crucial clash with Palermo on Sunday lunchtime.

Acquafresca is enduring a torrid goalless streak in Serie A. He failed to find the target at all during the Rossoblu’s last season in Serie A, despite playing 19 times, and his barren spell runs back as long as May 2012.
