Chievo took the lead early on and despite Pellissier’s equaliser at 2-2 and the fact that Genoa were down to 10 men, Chievo were unable to claim a draw and Pellissier insists Chievo must learn from the game.
“We were very naive at the end,” Pellissier told reporters after the game.
“The late Genoa goal was all our fault.
“I am sorry that we have wasted a big opportunity to get points.
“We did not deserve to lost the game and we gave our all to win the game.”
Pellissier then spoke about his goal but claimed it was worth nothing.
“I am happy that I scored but in the end it did not matter,” Pellissier added.
“I hope in the next game we will learn from out mistakes.”
