Fiorentina forward dreams of Scudetto

After Fiorentina beat Atalanta 3-0, Italian attacker Federico Bernardeschi has spoken about Fiorentina’s impressive form in Serie A.

For the first time since the 1998/99 season, la Viola are the top of Serie A, now two points clear of Inter, who drew 1-1 with Sampdoria.

“It’s never easy to win, but we are playing well,” Bernardeschi told Media Premium.

“Now we can enjoy this well-deserved first place in front of our fans, it is a great satisfaction.

“We are dealing with the added pressure well, as the coach has kept our feet on the ground.”

After the international break, the Viola meet Napoli, who defeated AC Milan 4-0 on Sunday evening.

“It’s going to be a great game with a lot of quality on the pitch,” Bernardeschi added.

“Can we win the Scudetto? If this is the real Fiorentina, then why not?”
