Fiorentina will reportedly be looking to land Napoli right-back Juan Camilo Zuniga during the January transfer window.
The 29-year-old, whose current contract with the Partenopei is set to expire in June 2017, has been left out of coach Maurizio Sarri’s plans this season and it seems like he may be looking for a way out of Naples this winter, with the Viola apparently ready to make a serious bid for his services.
According to La Nazione, Fiorentina have already been in contact with Napoli and are pushing to secure the Colombia international on an 18-month loan in January.
Reports also suggest that the Azzurri could continue to pay 60 per cent of the defender’s salary during his stay in Florence, leaving the Gigliati with just 40 per cent of his salary to pay.
Zuniga is yet to make an appearance for Napoli this season.
