Genoa boss Gian Piero Gasperini believes his team are still growing after their draw with Udinese.

The Grifone conceded to Antonio Di Natale before Diego Perotti levelled the score in the second half, to leave before sides in the bottom half of the Serie A table.

“We dominated the game for long periods, but didn’t make the most of it,” Gasperini told Radio Rai post match.

“We went a goal down, but then deservedly drew level. We are on the right track with this performance today.”

This is the first draw of the season for Genoa, who were looking to add to their win over AC Milan last week.

“The team is definitely growing, even if we still have room for improvement,” the Genoa coach continued.

“Perotti played very well, but also [Leonardo] Pavoletti when he came on the pitch.

“Andrea Bertolacci gave us a lot but in midfield, so we miss his input.”
