Lazio centre-back Santiago Gentiletti gave full credit to his team-mates after a convincing 3-0 win over Torino at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday.
The defender has found increased playing time as a result of Stefan De Vrij’s absence through injury at the heart of the back-line, which he feels has helped him to improve.
“Little by little I am finding the rhythm in my game and I can make the right moves,” said Gentiletti to Lazio Style Channel after the win.
“Torino are a strong team, they play well and we played a great game also. It wasn’t easy to bring home the three points but minute by minute we got better and better.”
Gentiletti continued with his hope to see a gradual improvement for Lazio and on the importance of the returns of captain Lucas Biglia and Senad Lulic.
“In every game we have to improve,” urged Gentiletti
“Now we have to do so away against Atalanta. Playing alongside Lucas Biglia is easy, he has enormous quality and never loses the ball and with Lulic back it’s also the same.”
