Udinese full-back Silvan Widmer.

Widmer, who is 22, is a right back by trade and was targeted by Napoli in the summer but no deal was agreed.

According to Tuttosport, Inter and Juve will battle it out for Widmer, whose contract runs out in 2019.

A deal in the region of €8 million could persuade the Zebrette into offloading Widmer, who is being touted as the perfect replacement for Juve wing-back Stephan Lichtsteiner.

Tuttosport also suggests acquiring the services of a right back will be a priority for Juventus this January as coach Massimiliano Allegri is also weighing up moves for Sassuolo‘s Sime Vrsaljko and Monaco full back Fabinho, in a bid to replace Lichtsteiner.

Juventus meet Inter this Sunday for the first Derby D’Italia of the season, which will take place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
