Juventus have suffered more injury setbacks with Roberto Pereyra and Kwadwo Asamoah expected to be out for up to three weeks.

During the Bianconeri’s match against Atalanta at the weekend, both Pereyra and Asamoah suffered injuries with the club now revealing how long they are expected to be sidelined.

“During the game [Pereyra] suffered a muscle problem in his right thigh,” the club said through a statement on their official website.

“There will be a healing time of about 40 days.”

Ghanaian international Asamoah also picked up a knock although his was less severe than his teammate’s.

“The Ghanaian midfielder suffered a muscle problem,” the statement continued.

“This is a first degree injury to the biceps of the left thigh, so the expected time of recovery is 20 days.”

These add to the list of injuries Massimiliano Allegri has to deal with, as Stephan Lichtsteiner and Martín Cáceres were both unavailable for the game against Atalanta and look set for more time on the bench.
