Juventus legend the newest addition in hierachy reshuffle

David Trezeguet JuventusFormer Juventus striker David Trezeguet has joined the club hierachy following the appointment of Pavel Nedved as vice-president.

The 38-year-old, who spent 10 years with the Bianconeri, will serve as an ambassador intent on expanding the club’s image abroad.

Club president Andrea Agnelli broke the news of Nedved’s appointment as vice-president on the club’s official Twitter account.

Agnelli has since approved the arrival of Trezeguet as a replacement for the Czech, as revealed by Tuttomercatoweb.com.

Nedved joins Javier Zanetti as another high-profile figure to have taken on a presidential position at one of the Serie A elite following a successful playing career.

Trezeguet scored 135 goals in 245 appearances during his time with the Bianconeri and even wore the captain’s armband.

Alessandro Del Piero is expected to be offered a role with the Serie A champions in the near future.
