Juventus will not be making a bid to sign Arsenal right-back Mathieu Debuchy when the transfer window opens in January.

There had been strong speculation that the Bianconeri were set to offer a deal to the North London club in order to sign the Frenchman, but it appears the Old Lady are uninterested in a move for the player and will instead prioritise other targets.

According to Sky Sports in the United Kingdom, Juventus have yet to make an approach to the Gunners for the player and nor will they seek to sign the player when the transfer window reopens.

Debuchy’s future at the Emirates stadium has been cast into doubt after the promising start to the season made by Arsenal’s 20-year-old defender Hector Bellerin.

The Spaniard’s performances have meant that Debuchy has made just three appearances for the Premier League side this season.
