The defender added that it was important for Roma to take all three points and that it is too soon to talk about the Scudetto.
“I feel good and I am ready whenever the team needs me,” Maicon told reporters after the game at the Stadio Olimpico.
“It is down to the coach though to decide who plays and when.
“Today was an important win for team.”
The former Inter defender scored the Giallorossi’s second goal and he explained his goal celebration.
“It was nothing special, just an inside joke with my agent who has been calling me often recently, so I put my finger to my mouth,” Maicon added.
Roma are currently top of Serie A, but when asked about the Scudetto, Maicon was cautious to think about the long term.
“It’s too soon to talk about the scudetto,” Maicon concluded.
“I have already won many Serie A titles and I know the path is long.”
