Moralez happy to remain at Atalanta

Maxi Moralez Atalanta 3 Cesena 2Atalanta‘s Maxi Moralez has revealed his delight at the form shown by Edy Reja’s side at the start of the season and has expressed his happiness with his decision to stay in Bergamo for the 2015-16 campaign.

The Argentine forward was heavily linked with a move away from the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia in the summer, with Al-Ittihad showing an interest in securing his services.

Speaking to Bergamo Post, Moralez spoke about his contentment with life in Bergamo.

“I feel really happy here,” he began.

“Natalia [his partner] and Bastian [his son] are happy in Bergamo,” the 28-year-old added.

“We feel completely relaxed and at ease here.

The player known as El Frasquito, or, the little flask, continued to discuss La Dea’s positive start to the Serie A campaign.

“When everything is going well and we are winning everything is even more beautiful and rewarding.

“I am glad that we have started the season so well.”

Moralez has been in fine form so far this season, contributing a goal and four assists in his eight Serie A appearances to date, he has also found himself captaining the side on occasion.
