Napoli-Lazio-HiguainNapoli will continue their journey in Group D in the Europa League when they travel to Denmark on Thursday to face Midtjylland at the MCH Arena.

The hosts go into the game on top form, having won four in a row, and are currently first in the Alka Superligaen with 27 points.

The Azzurri are also in fine nick, having beaten Serie A leaders Fiorentina on Sunday thanks to goals from Lorenzo Insigne and Gonzalo Higuain.

Despite being debutants in a group stage of the Europe League, Midtjylland have won two out of two so far and are looking to make it three with a win against Napoli.

The Partenopei travel to Denmark having also won their past two Europa League games, scoring seven goals and conceding none.

This will be the first ever encounter between the two sides, as well as being the first game against an Italian team for Midtjylland and the first against a Danish team for Napoli.

Napoli are clear favourites, and Sarri will give some playing time to fringe player with Christian Maggio likely to play on the right and Mirko Valdifiori as playmaker instead of Jorginho. Sarri is also likely rest his two star forwards with Manolo Gabbiadini replacing Insigne on the left and Higuain unlikley to play the full 90 minutes

The Italian side will not be able to count on Dries Mertens, who has been ruled out for a week due to a contraction of his left leg muscle but should return to side against Chievo at the weekend.

Midtjylland coach Jess Thorup will likely play a 4-1-4-1 formation with a solid and well protected defence, which have conceded just four goals in 12 matches this season.

The champions of Denmark should start with Duncan up front, with Matt Pusic ready to come on the pitch. Both centre forwards have scored three goals so far this season and will represent a threat to Napoli.
