Roma coach Rudi Garcia said his side deserved their 3-1 home victory over Udinese in Serie A on Wednesday evening.
The Giallorossi were out of sight with goals from Miralem Pjanic, Maicon and Gervinho before Cyril Thereau’s consolation strike in a victory that saw Garcia’s side return to the top of the Serie A table.
“It was a deserved victory,” said the 51-year-old in an interview with Mediaset Premium.
“It was not an easy game, but we made it simple.”
The Frenchman was also asked about his side’s next game against Inter and whether it would be decisive in the Serie A title race.
“It’s crucial to continue our good form, but we have to think about one game at a time.
“We can’t think about becoming champions, although it will be an exciting game [against Inter].”
