Inter defender Davide Santon hopes to qualify for Europe this season after his side’s impressive start to the season.
The Nerazzurri recently claimed a 1-0 victory away to Bologna in Serie A with their next fixture being a clash against top-of-the-table rivals Roma on Saturday night.
“Inter against Roma will be a great occasion,” Santon told Inter’s official website.
“We are both near the top of the table, it will be tough game but one we are looking forward to.”
Talking of Inter’s Serie A chances this season, Santon said he hopes to achieve European qualification but there is a long way to go yet.
“I hope we qualify for Europe but there is still a long way to go in the season,” Santon added.
Inter are currently in fourth place in the Serie A league table, just two points behind the Giallorossi who are top the table.
