Giampiero Ventura TorinoTorino coach Giampiero Ventura has reportedly agreed to extend his contract with the club, with only the official announcement lacking.

The 67-year-old tactician has led the Granata up the charts in recent years and has now been awarded a new contract after a bright start to the 2015-16 season.

According to Tuttosport, club president Urbano Cairo has moved fast to tie Ventura down on a new deal, with his current contract set to expire at the end of the season.

The report also states that Toro sporting director Gianluca Petrachi has also agreed upon an extension though he is yet to put pen to paper.

An official announcement is expected to be made once Petrachi has penned the new deal, as the club is set to announce the renewals together.
