udinese frosinoneUdinese coach Stefano Colantuono has urged his players to show more going forward despite beating Frosinone 1-0.

The former Atalanta coach was happy with his team’s first half, but he was not impressed with the second half showing with Udinese unable to add to their lead.

“We played a great first half but were unable to score the second and this made us a bit anxious,” Colantuono told reporters after the game.

“We must not be afraid to keep attacking once we are in the lead.

“We have to stay calm and not all push back and defend.”

Udinese beat Frosinone 1-0 thanks to a Francesco Lodi free kick, and then missed several chances to make it 2-0.

“We have to use this as a building block,” Colantuono added.

“Looking ahead we need to collect more points and be more positive going forward.”
