Is the ball in or out of play?  According to Salmeen Khamis of Dubai side Al Ahli, it was out but in picking it up, the referee disagreed and awarded a penalty during a semi-final match of the Asian Champions League.

Fortunately for him, the spot kick hit the foot of the post.
