The 16-year-old has recently taken the place of Spaniard Diego Lopez between the Rossoneri posts and is widely regarded to be one of the most promising players in Serie A, after helping Milan pick up three wins and one draw since his debut.
“Neuer is my role model,” he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. “It’s impossible not to admire him.
Donnarumma is soon expected to sign a new contract with Milan, which will likely feature a big increase in wages, although he has insisted that he is not thinking about the financial side of football.
“I am not thinking about the new contract,” he said. “I’m not even old enough to buy a new car.”
The youngster is expected to start this Saturday’s game against Juventus.
