Miralem Pjanic RomaSpanish giants Barcelona are reportedly eyeing a move for Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic.

The 25-year-old Bosnian has been hugely impressive for the Giallorossi this season, scoring eight times in all competitions, and it now seems that Blaugrana boss Luis Enrique will try to prise him away from the Stadio Olimpico.

La Gazzetta dello Sport have confirmed the Catalan’s interest in the player, however they have also reported that Roma will accept nothing less than €40 million for the free-kick specialist.

It was Enrique who brought Pjanic to Serie A in 2011, after he signed him from Olympique Lyon for €11 million during his one-year stint at the Roman club.

Despite this interest, Pjanic still has a contract with Roma until 2018, of which he earns an estimated €4 million a year.

Since his move, he has made a total of 137 Serie A appearances for the Lupi and scored 23 league goals.
