Former Inter star Esteban Cambiasso has revealed Javier Zanetti was the best player he played alongsideĀ during his ten-year experience with the Nerazzurri.

The 35-year-old, who joined Inter in 2004, played alongsideĀ some world class players such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Samuel Eto’o.

“It’s difficult to pick just one. For his consistency, our friendship and many personal reasons, I would pick Javier Zanetti,” he said during a Q and A session for Uefa.com.

‘El Cuchu’ also went through some memories of the treble winning season at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

“The best goal of my career is the one I scored against Serbia at the 2006 World Cup. But the most important goal was the one for Inter against Chelsea in 2010,” he said.

“In my career nothing has come close to winning the Champions League. In my life, it is my children.”
