Fiorentina midfielder Jakub Blaszczykowski feels he is beginning to adapt to life at the Stadio Artemio Franchi and believes his best form isn’t far away.
The Poland international joined the Viola on loan from Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund at the start of this season and after a slow start has found his feet to become an important player in their charge to the top of the table.
“After a difficult start to the season I’m fine now,” said the 29-year-old in an interview with portowefakty.wp.pl.
“The coach has shown that he has confidence in me, he knows that I need time to find my best form,” Blaszczykowski added.
“In the last two or three weeks I was not the best [physically] but I am determined to recover and get into the best condition I can.
“In Italy it’s all new to me, I need time to acclimatise.”
