Inter legend Javier Zanetti has picked three of his former Nerazzurri team-mates in his dream five-a-side team.
Alongside himself, the 42-year-old, who is serving as a UEFA Champions League final ambassador, the full-back picked ex-Inter stars Diego Milito, Ronaldo and Diego Simeone, with fellow Argentine Lionel Messi completing the five.
“Ronaldo, because he has incredible technique and great power,” said Zanetti, explaining his choices in an interview with the official UEFA website.
“[Lionel] Messi, because he can come up with a great play any time; [Diego] Milito, because when he’s in the area he never fails; [Diego] Simeone, for his personality; and myself, to be with all of them.”
Zanetti’s role as ambassador is due to the 2016 Champions League final being played at the Stadio Meazza, a venue he graced many times as captain of Inter.
