Paulo Dybala got the only goal of the game thanks to a wonderful control and shot that flew past the impressive Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Both sides came into this match with high levels of optimism, as the Bianconeri had won their previous two Serie A matches whilst the Rossoneri hadn’t lost since the beginning of October.

Massimiliano Allegri’s side began the better of the two teams, with the first real chance of note coming when Claudio Marchisio forced Donnarumma into a smart save.

With the first-half coming to what looked to be a tepid end, the 16-year-old was at the centre of the action once more. Hernanes’ free-kick glanced off the head of Giacomo Bonaventura only for a to get a strong hand to clear the danger.

The second-half opened with a far more scrappy affair until Juventus began to up their tempo and the rather quiet Mario Mandzukic delivered a superb low ball into the box but Paul Pogba was unable to make any room for a shot.

The Frenchman wouldn’t let the half chance faze him as he would then hit a stupendous 35-yard strike that nearly dipped past Donnarumma in the Milan goal.

The deadlock was finally broken when Dybala struck home in brilliant fashion after the hour mark. Alex Sandro hooked the ball into the path of the onrushing Argentinian who did well to chest the ball down before striking the ball into the corner.

Juraj Kucka nearly got Milan back in it with 15 minutes remaining, but his volley flew agonisingly over Gianluigi Buffon’s goal.

Mandzukic saw a final minute chance go begging as Juventus continued their rise up the Serie A table to sixth above their opponents.
