Empoli‘s Riccardo Saponara is thought to be a prime transfer target for both Juventus and Fiorentina.
The former AC Milan midfielder has earned widespread praise for his performances since exiting the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, with both Roma and Napoli also being suggested as potential destinations for the player.
According to calciomercato.it, Saponara will leave the Tuscan club in January, with the Scudetto holders and current league leaders looking the most likely of destinations for the Italian.
Premier League outfit Liverpool have also reportedly shown interest in the 23-year-old though a move to another Serie A side appears to be more likely.
Saponara has featured nine times in Serie A for the Azzurri this season and has contributed four goals and as many assists for his team.
