Mandorlini - Hellas VeronaHellas Verona coach Andrea Mandorlini is not worried about his current position at the club and is primarily focused on turning their poor form around.

The Gialloblu currently sit in 19th place in the Serie A league table following a 0-0 draw away to bottom side Carpi on Sunday afternoon, in a game where Mandorlini was disappointed not to see his team grab a goal.

“We have had a great attack over the past few years but [against Carpi] we played a good game without scoring,” he told reporters after the match.

Mandorlini was also quizzed upon whether or not a loss in their upcoming fixture against Bologna on November 7 could cost him his job at the club.

“I do not know if a result will have an impact on my job as coach,” he said.

“But that is the least of my worries as I just want to prepare the team well.”

Verona have drawn six games so far this season but Mandorlini believes that they have deserved more.

“Over the six draws we were often the team who deserved to win,” he concluded.
