Juventus Barcelona Morata celebratingJuventus striker Alvaro Morata has insisted that he has no intention of leaving the Bianconeri for a return to his former club Real Madrid.

The Spaniard signed for the Turin outfit in the summer of 2014 for a fee of €20m, but the Spanish giants included a buy-back option in the deal – a clause that they are now considering to activate.

“I am only interested in playing for Juventus and winning titles with them,” said Morata to La Gazzetta dello Sport. “The transfer speculation isn’t my problem.

“I’m very happy here and I’m not thinking about any other clubs. It’s true that there’s a lot of things that aren’t up to me but I must reiterate that I’m delighted to be here at Juventus.

“I have no intention of leaving.”

Morata also stressed the importance of the Old Lady’s clash against an in-form AC Milan side this Saturday, stating that they simply cannot lose the vital fixture.

“It will be like a final for us,” he added. “It is one of the classic matches in Italian football and we cannot afford to suffer a defeat despite the form Milan are currently in.”

Milan have recently given 16-year-old Gianluigi Donnarumma a run in the team and Morata has wished him all the best in his career, while also commenting on fellow countryman Diego Lopez.

“I hope Donnarumma enjoys a great career, but I wish that upon him only after this Sunday. As for Diego Lopez, I do not know if he has physical problems, but I also wish him good luck.”

Lastly, the 23- year-old also stated the he is aware of current lack in form, having only scored one Serie A goal all season, but he is optimistic that he can soon regain his previous goalscoring touch.

“I know I have to improve as my performances haven’t been so good,” Morata concluded.

“But I’m only 23 and I’m sure I can rediscover my previous form and kick on.”
