Lech Poznan

Jasmin Buric – 6 – Annoyed

Was left flailing at thin air when Josip Ilicic sent his free kick into the bottom corner. Beaten by the Slovenian once again in the second half, but was left for dead by his defenders.

Tomasz Kedziora – 6.5 – Good

A menace all game, quick and incisive on the ball. Couldn’t keep up with Josip Ilicic when he sped away toward goal.

Tamas Kádár – 6 – Average

The former Newcastle United youngster tried to create from the back, sending long balls up to Formella. Completely lost Ilicic when the striker found the back of the net for the second time.

Dariusz Dudka – 6 – Poor

The experienced defender gave away the free kick that allowed La Viola to score. Composed himself there after but was left to watch Ilicic score his second.

Marcin Kaminski – 6.5 – Determined

A solid figure in the back line as he has been throughout the tournament. Saw his rasping shot saved by Sepe in the first half. Tried desperately to catch Ilicic when he scored his second, but was not fast enough.

Lukasz Tralka – 6.5 – Rallying

The captain was strong going into the challenge and tried desperately to marshal his players.

Karol Linetty – 5.5 – Wild

Disappointed to pick up an early booking having returned from suspension. Had a brief sight of goal, but sent it way over the bar. Avoided a second booking for a contentious challenge on Matias Vecino, but remained a worry for his coach.

Kasper Hämäläinen – 6.5 – Engine

The Finland international kept the midfield ticking over for the Polish side, kept the ball moving and chased after the Fiorentina players to regain possession. Replaced by Gajos in the second half.

Abdul Aziz Tetteh – 6.5 – Industrious

Put in a shift but wasn’t involved enough to make much of an impact on his team’s chances. Good first touch and composed in possession, but seemed to lose his efficiency the further forward he got. Replaced by Thomalla as they went in search of a goal.

Szymon Pawlowski – 6.5 – Unlucky

Had a brilliant opportunity in the first ten minutes, firing just wide from distance. Was one of the few to really trouble Luigi Sepe all game, firing across the face of goal in the second half.

Dariusz Formella – 6.5 – Pacy

Full of tricks and feints, but sadly didn’t have the chances in front of goal he wanted. Was replaced by Lovrencsics after the hour.

Gergo Lovrencsics – 5.5 – Wayward

Replaced Formella as the hosts went in search of an equaliser. Lashed a chance wide with Fiorentina back pedaling, where he really should have hit the target.

Denis Thomalla – 5.5 – Ineffective

The German striker came on with 20 minutes to make an impact, replacing Tetteh. Saw little of the ball with time running out.

Maciej Gajos – N/A

Cameo appearance for the attacking midfielder, who had one sight of goal but sent his header over the bar from a free kick.
