Roma took the vaguely-Stalinist step of cropping Ashley Cole out of an official club image.
The England international was expected to leave over the summer and was excluded from the squad, but he has stuck around as he continues to receive injury treatment.

Roma’s social media team clearly liked the image enough to share it on the club’s own channels, but not before cropping Cole out of the picture so that the limelight was focused solely on the Egyptian star.

It is also possible that Roma were simply attempting to conceal the mostly-naked man in the back of the first image from view.
Cole made just 11 Serie A appearances for the Giallorossi as he struggled with injury and inconsistent form in Italy.
