Ismail H'Maidat BresciaRoma are confident in securing the services of the young Moroccan talent Ismail H’Maidat in the upcoming January transfer window.

The 20-year-old was closely followed by the Giallorossi over the summer and could now be set to join the club for the second half of the season after reaching a verbal agreement with the capital side.

Roma’s sporting director Walter Sabatini previously held open talks with the youngster’s club Brescia, who currently reside in Italy’s Serie B, though the two sides failed to complete the deal after a breakdown regarding the fee.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Sabatini has now agreed upon a sum with the Rondinelle and is likely to make the signing official come January.

The reports does suggest however that Roma may choose to loan the young talent back to Brescia upon purchase, instead of placing him directly into their squad.

H’Maidat has received plaudits for his discipline and flexibility ever since making his professional debut last year, being able to play as deep-lying playmaker or even further up the field.
