Bologna 2-0 on Saturday evening at the Stadio Olimpico in Turin in Serie A.

Second half goals from Andrea Belotti and Giuseppe Vives won the game for the Granata as they took advantage of a poor performance from Bologna to make it back to back wins in Serie A.

The first piece of action in the first half saw Daniele Baselli’s shot saved by goalkeeper Antonio Mirante.

Cristian Molinaro and forward Fabio Quagliarella both had chances from promising positions but they couldn’t find the target.

Mirante, in fact, pulled off yet another decisive save as he tipped away Vives’ strike.

Striker Quagliarella got his second opportunity on goal after 30 minutes as he hit the ball straight at the goalkeeper. A few moments later, Vives blasted one to the bottom left corner that was also comfortably saved.

The first half was largely one sided with the away side restricted to just one clear cut opportunity as Emanuele Giaccherini’s shot hit the side netting just before the half time whistle.

Following the interval, Torino went close with Belotti hitting the post from a header on 60 minutes, after latching onto a cross from Molinaro.

In between all this Torino pressure, Bologna were able to squeeze in a chance when Amadou Diawara shot high and wide, not troubling Padelli at all.

However, with around 15 minutes remaining the home side finally found their break through when Belotti slid one in from the left side of the penalty box.

With just a few minutes left to play, Bologna’s Daniele Gastaldello had a great chance but his header was off target. The game was put to bed in injury time when Giuseppe Vives scored from a tight angle, leaving goalkeeper Mirante no chance.
