zola west hamGianfranco Zola hopes to one day become the coach of Premier League side Chelsea.

The Italian currently coaches Al-Arabi, but worked at Cagliari during the 2014-15 season for only three months after failing to get the side out of the relegation zone and he has also coached the likes of Watford and West Ham United.

“My dream is to coach Chelsea in the future, but I have to improve if I want that to happen,” said Zola to tuttomercatoweb.com

The former Cagliari man transferred to Chelsea in 1996, where he became a legend for the club.

He left the west London club in 2003 and returned to Cagliari, where he retired in 2005.

Zola’s former club Chelsea are currently going through a rough period as they sit in the bottom half of the Premier League table.

There has been speculation that current boss Jose Mourinho could be heading for dismissal, but it is now believed that the former Inter coach will be given more time.
