Atalanta coach keen to continue winning form

Chievo as the two sides meet on Sunday.

Both Atalanta and Chievo have surprised many with their great starts to the Serie A season and Reja also spoke about the injury situation at the Bergamo club.

“When you come into a game after two straight wins, you expect to keep the run going,” Reja told reporters ahead of the game.

“Although Chievo have had a great season so far.

“I know Maran, he is a coach who pays a lot of attention to the small details.

“It would fill us full of pride if we could continue this streak, against a tough team like Chievo.”

Reja went onto talk about the latest injury worries that Atalanta have.

“Pinilla’s surgery went pretty well,” Reja added.

“There weren’t any significant problems and he should be back in six to ten weeks.”

“Denis could play against Chievo.

“As long as he is physically ok and has no further problems with his tendons.

“He has been working well for the last three weeks.

“He wants to play and is highly motivated.”
