Former Roma left back Ashley Cole is in talks with Los Angeles Galaxy to join Major League Soccer.
Cole has been a free agent since August after leaving Roma, and is set to have a meeting with the American side this week.
According to reports by the Daily Express, the ex Arsenal and Chelsea player will meet with the Galaxy management before the New Year to seal the transfer.
The MLS side want to join Cole up with Steven Gerrard, with whom the defender played several times in his international career.
Cole played 107 times for England, and Galaxy are keen to see him play alongside Gerrard again.
Crystal Palace are also interested in landing the full back, but according to the Daily Express Cole is only interested in concluding his career in America.
