Hellas Verona coach Luigi Delneri has said his team stood no chance against this Napoli team in their 3-0 loss on Wednesday evening.
The Mastini were completely outclassed as goals from Omar El Kaddouri, Dries Mertens and Jose Callejon knocked the Gialloblu out of the Coppa Italia.
“Napoli plays football that I enjoy, they have quality players and other very important tactical ingredients. ” said Delneri after the match to Radio Kiss Kiss.
“Survival from relegation? We have to start improving away from home, we have until May to resurrect our season.
“Napoli have players who play with a calm mind and with important qualities, they kept us at bay and they deserve to go through. ”
Hellas Verona currently sit bottom of Serie A with just seven points and no wins to their name.
