Inter defender Andrea Ranocchia is reportedly on the verge of joining Bologna
The 27-year-old Andrea Ranocchia has made just a single start this season, making nine appearances from the bench for the Nerazzurri. The Italian captained Inter last season but has struggled considerably to make any impact this season.
CalcioMercato reports that the former Bari man has edged close to sealing a loan move to fellow Serie A side Bologna. After falling out of favor with Roberto Mancini, Ranocchia intends to earn a selection for the upcoming EURO 2016 and Bologna President Pantaleo Corvino would convince the defender regarding the move.
Ranocchia penned a new deal with Inter this past summer, but lack of match time has played a part in forcing him to leave.
The 27-year-old joined Inter back in 2011 from Genoa for a fee in the region of €12.5 million.
