Inter are reportedly still hoping to land NYCFC star Andrea Pirlo on loan this winter.

The 36-year-old, whose current deal with the MLS side is set to expire in December 2016, has been steadily linked with a possible move to the Nerazzurri as of late and it seems like the Stadio Meazza outfit are going to continue their fight for his signature in January as they prepare to battle for first place in the second half of the season.

According to SportMediaset, Inter have offered Pirlo a six-month loan deal and are only awaiting his response, with some believing that he may temporarily return to Italy with hopes of earning a call up to the Euro 2016 in the summer.

Reports also suggest that the Biscione could make a move for Lazio midfielder Lucas Biglia if the NYCFC man decides to remain in New York.

Pirlo provided two assists in his 13 MLS appearances last term.
