A group of Lazio fans left bags of manure outside the club’s training base to protest against the club’s poor form and Claudio Lotito’s ownership.
The Biancocelesti are currently 12th and haven’t won in six Serie A fixtures going into their match with Sampdoria.
“Lotito: You eat everything so eat this,” read one banner accompanying the bags of manure outside Formello according to Tuttomercatoweb.com as around 100 supporters gathered at the facility.
“Lotito: You want to make us drown in s**t so eat this,” proclaimed another.
The gathering of fans continued to sing songs directed against the president and they demanded that the players show more spirit.
Some Aquile fans had previously released a statement exonerating the coach Stefano Pioli for the club’s current predicament as they believe he has been let down by a lack of support from the ownership.
