Juventus are reportedly hoping to land Sampdoria midfielder Roberto Soriano during the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old, whose current deal with the Blucerchiati is set to expire in June 2020, has attracted the attention of Bianconeri boss Massimiliano Allegri as of late and could be open to a move to Juve due to La Samp’s lacking results this season thus far, with the Turin giants apparently readying a proposal for him.

According to TuttoSport, Juventus director general Beppe Marotta is willing to pay the Italian’s price tag of around €12 million and has already begun negotiations with both Sampdoria and the player’s agent.

However, reports also suggest that Soriano could be turned off by a move to the Old Lady with fears of receiving less playing time, which could affect the Bianconeri’s chances of securing his services.

The midfielder has scored three goals and provided two assists in his 14 Serie A appearances this term thus far.
