Juventus executive Giuseppe Marotta praised Massimiliano Allegri’s job saying he has never had any doubts about him.

The Bianconeri recovered after a difficult start to the season with a four game winning run in their Serie A campaign and sealing qualification to the Champions League’s round of 16.

“We are very happy with what Allegri has done so far,” the director told Radio Sportiva.

“He proved to have proper qualities and we definitely share the same ambitions.

“We had a great consistency in Champions League, losing only the final. It has been different in Serie A but we got back on track winning four matches.”

The 58-year-old executive said Alvaro Morata should not worry about his lack of playing time.

“Even in this case, we agree with the coach’s decisions.

“Morata is certainly a skilful player. He just has to be patient as we’re playing several competitions.”

Promising youngster Daniele Rugani is also struggling to play with Juventus veterans Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini being Allegri’s first choices.

“We are very pleased with Rugani, he joined a very strong defence and it was not easy to settle down,” Marotta said.

“His growth is very important to us; he must be calm and humble, his moment will come.”
