Inter legend Marco Materazzi says that one day coaching the Nerazzurri would be a dream come true.
The 42-year-old is currently the coach of Indian Super League side Chennaiyin FC, and after enjoying success in the country he reacted positively to being asked about one day coaching Inter.
“Coaching Inter is the dream of any Inter player who has achieved unforgettable moments with the club,” the Italian told TuttoMercatoWeb.
Materazzi was optimistic when quizzed on whether he felt himself ready to enter Serie A in a coaching capacity, whether it be with Inter or another club.
“Yes [I think I’m ready], but moving there today isn’t my first thought.”
Also on the agenda for the interview was the title credentials of the current Nerazzurri team, who are a point clear at the top of the Serie A table at Christmas.
“I think also Napoli and Roma will challenge [In addition to Inter and Juventus], this year will be a hard-fought championship.”
