Sarri NapoliNapoli coach Maurizio Sarri admits his concerns prior to Bologna defeat became a reality in the Sunday morning goal-fest.

A double from Mattia Destro and one from Luca Rossettini ended the unbeaten run under Sarri and lost them ground on Inter.

“All the risks and fears we talked about before the game became a reality over the ninety minutes,” Sarri told Sky Sport Italia.

“We came here off the back of a big win, so perhaps the players thought they could recharge their batteries in this match.

“Four chances presented themselves to get back into the game after half time, but we conceded and lost our own belief.”

Gonzalo Higuain scored twice in the dying minutes to resurrect hope of snatching a point or three, but it was too late.

“In the final minutes we proved we could still have earned a point, but we will have to look at the details,” he added.

“We conceded far too much to our opponents, we will have to work on this if we still have our Scudetto ambitions.

“Perhaps losing today will be beneficial in the long run, as it can help us understand our flaws,” Sarri concluded.
