Napoli defender Henrique is reportedly close to sealing a move to Brazilian side Flamengo.
The 29-year-old hasn’t played a single game for the Azzurri since coach Maurizio Sarri took over in June, after making only a total of 11 appearances last season and is deemed surplus to requirements at the Stadio San Paolo.
As reported by CalcioMercato.it, Brazilian side Flamengo are interested in signing the former Barcelona man, the club having made a direct contact for the acquisition of the player and are now considered very close to sealing the signature of the defender.
The report also suggests that Henrique, who plays predominantly as a centre-back, is very much willing to move as Flamengo is one of his first choices having joined the Partenopei from fellow Compeonato Brasileiro side Palmeiras for €4 million.
