FBL-EUR-C3-WARSAW-NAPOLINapoli host Polish side Legia Warsaw in the final match of Europa League Group D.

The Serie A side are currently top of the table with a perfect run of form, earning all 15 points from their previous five matches in group play.

Legia sit at the bottom of the table on four points but could still progress if they secure a victory and Midtjylland draw with Club Brugge.

Napoli’s current group stage has been impressive with the Partenopei side netting a whopping 17 goals, while only conceding once in the process.

The Partenopei won the away leg of the match between the two sides 2-0 at the Stadion Wojska Polskiego in October. Dries Mertens opened the scoring and Gonzalo Higuain sealed victory with his strike in the 84th minute, handing Legia their first home defeat in European play this season.

Legia will be looking for their first victory in Italy in eight attempts, while attempting to knock Napoli from being the only club with a perfect record in the competition.

Napoli’s Manolo Gabbiadini is doubtful for the match with an ankle injury. Coach Maurizio Sarri will have to turn elsewhere to replace his leading scorer in the competition.

Legia coach Stanislav Cherchesov will be without the services of  midfielder’s Michal Maslowski and Ivica Vrdoljak who are recovering from knee aliments. Dominik Furman is also set to miss the clash as he is recovering from an ankle injury.
