Udinese.

Antonio Di Natale bagged a brace to secure a well deserved 3-1 victory, but the visitors will be ruing a lot of missed chances in attack.

“We paid for our mistakes up front,” Reja told Rai Sport.

“Carelessness was the main problem regarding our defence as well,” he added.

“However, Estigarribia [Marcelo], D’Alessandro [Marco] and Conti [Andrea] created a number of chances for us.

“We made it difficult for ourselves by not scoring more.

Di Natale opened the scoring after just four minutes of the tie thanks to a penalty kick.

“I did not see the incident properly.”

“Making such a decision after just four minutes can affect a game.

“I don’t believe a foul should have been given in that situation.

“In fact, it was just a mere outstretched leg!”

Gaetano Monachello was one bright light from the match having netted the equaliser in the second half.

“He played a good match for sure.

“He is a very useful player to have at our disposal.

“He has had little opportunities prior but more will come his way now.”

The conference concluded with Reja giving his opinion on his side’s progress in Serie A.

“We don’t really have any specific ambitions to be quite honest.”

“Entertaining the fans is our main aim and to have 21 points in 14 matches is no easy feat.

“The season isn’t over, I’m pretty content with where we are.”
