Juventus v Sevilla FC - UEFA Champions LeagueJuventus travel to Spain on Tuesday in the Champions League to face Sevilla at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan stadium, with the Old Lady only needing a point to seal top spot in Group D and qualification to the round of 16.

The Bianconeri head to Andalusia in fine form, winning their latest domestic Serie A game 2-0 away to Lazio on Friday night, a victory which was their fifth in a row in all competitions.

Massimiliano Allegri’s men currently sit top of Champions League group D after matchday five on eleven points. A 1-0 win over Manchester City two weeks ago in Turin put the Old Lady two points clear of the Premier League outfit in second, with third place Borussia Monchengladbach further back on five points and Tuesday’s opponents Sevilla sitting last on three points. The Bianconeri are one of four teams yet to be beaten in this season’s competition and are on a six game unbeaten run away from home in the Champions league

Unai Emery’s side, meanwhile, come into the game after drawing 1-1 away to Deportivo La Coruna on Saturday in La Liga, and sit in 10th position in the La Liga table after round 14.

The Sevillistas are currently on their worst sequence of results in their history in Europe, after suffering four defeats in a row in Champions League group D. The Europa League holders began their Champions League campaign with a 3-0 win over Monchengladbach on matchday one, but have since lost to Juve, Manchester City twice and last time out 4-2 away to Die Fohlen, conceding eleven goals in the process. Los Rojiblancos need a win on Tuesday and hope Borussia fail to win against City to seal third place and Europa League entry.

The sides have only met once before in the Champions League, which was on matchday two this season with the Bianconeri running out 2-0 winners. A goal just before the break by Alvaro Morata was followed up by a late second half strike by Simone Zaza to seal the three points for the Turin giants.
