Vito MannoneSunderland’s Vito Mannone has been strongly linked with a move to Hellas Verona.

The Italian goalkeeper is second choice for the Black Cats behind Costel Pantilimon and the Wearside are considering recalling Jordan Pickford from his loan at Preston North End should Mannone move to the Gialloblu.

We’re going to have a look at it [recalling Pickford],” said Allardyce according to Chronicle Live.

“It depends on how long Vito thinks he can sit in that position as No.2. He’s a frustrated young man who thinks he should be playing.

“What may happen in January may make a difference [to Pickford’s situation].

“If nothing happens with Vito in January, we may end up leaving him [Pickford] where he is for the year, playing at that level and playing very well.”

Rafael and Pierluigi Gollini have bother featured in net for the winless Mastini although the Brazilian didn’t help his position at the club by getting himself sent off and giving away a penalty during a defeat to Frosinone.
