The agent of Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi has confirmed that the Argentinian could join Inter, though insists his future is still in the hands of the French giants.
Having grown tired of his time in the French capital, Lavezzi is said to be looking for a way out, and with Inter beckoning for his signature it looks like ‘El Pocho’ is finally set for a return to Serie A.
“There’s certainly a possibility [of joining] because many players are going to being arriving at Inter in January,” the player’s agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, told La Domencia Sportiva.
“Lavezzi has spoken numerous times about how much he misses the Italian league, but much will depend on the will of PSG.
“They are a big club so he has great respect for them.”
Whilst it remains to be seen whether a move will materialise, the Nerazzurri certainly seem to have the upper hand over rivals Juventus, who are also interested in adding Lavezzi to their roster.
